  1. Karthik, I am embarrassed but truly grateful. Thank you. Unstinted and sincere praise is the second-best high after a good book — would you agree?

Some thoughts on your blog. I did some wooing to the accompaniment of Amul chocolates — their tag-line used to be ‘A gift for someone you love’. It worked for me!

As for the ghost-writer coming out of the closet, I think it’s been done, although I can’t place the film right now. Have you seen ‘In & Out’? A minor classic about a gay coming out, starring that under-rated master Kevin Kline. And one of the bravest pieces of casting, with Kline and Tom Selleck in a full lip-to-lip kiss!

  2. You are most welcome. Over the last few months, it has been exciting (and in a way humbling) to discover so much good writing on the web on so many different topics. Amit’s energy and Lazygeek’s simple, effective and consistent updates are at one end of the spectrum, while quirky, personal and (almost) poetic blogs like yours, BridalBeer and HerStory are at the other end.

I watched In and Out a long time back on an airplane. Don’t remember much about the movie, except the kiss. I loved Kevin Kline in A Fish called Wanda though.
