Yes, she liked it. I read part of it and I found it unsettling. However, it felt like an apposite commentary of contemporary America.

Somehow I lost interest in non-fiction. I have unsuccessfully tried several times to start reading. Paavana just bought a whole slew of books written by Booker Prize winners.
